Wonderful resolution to an annoying problem

I have been a customer of Simon Says Stamp for a few years. I had never had any complaints or problems with my shopping experience. I recently moved from a large city to a very rural area in a different part of the state. During my moving process I did an inventory of my supplies and found I needed a bunch of craft supplies. I placed an order for approximately $350 worth of supplies and moved into my new home. The package traveled across the country to my state, said it was delivered, and was no where to be found. I went to the post office 3 times and called the national USPS 4 times with nothing but frustration and excessive hold times. I called Simon Says Stamp and left a voicemail, hoping that maybe they had better access to the USPS tracking or package locating. I woke up the next morning to an email from customer service letting me know that they were picking the items to rebuild my order and would be shipped this new order out immediately. They told me if the original package showed up at some point to simply return to sender. They were so kind, prompt and considerate. I received my replacement package without any delay or problems within a few days. There was one item that was out of stock when they rebuilt my order, and I had totally forgotten about it, but today I got an email letting me know it was back in stock and they had shipped it independently and it would be arriving shortly. I was so impressed with this service I asked them to direct me to where I could leave a review, which isn’t something I normally do, but again, I received such great service that I wanted to share that with potential customers. I will be a loyal customer for many years to come.

My Error; SSS Quickly Resolves!

I inadvertently ordered a duplicate of a stamp I already own. SSS responded to my email requesting an alteration to my order to remove the duplicate within a few hours of when it was sent and they cheerfully removed the duplicate from my order and initiated a refund! Thank you Chandi and Simon Says Stamp! I’ll be more than happy to keep shopping with you when you offer such outstanding customer service!

I ordered over 3 weeks ago

I ordered over 3 weeks ago. No sign of it!!! It’s harder to get ahold of their Customer Service leaves a lot to be said for... as in non-existent!! They actually held my order for 5 days before shipping.. and only shipped when I made noise... There is no coupon that will EVER draw me back!!!

Customer service....a concept needed at SSS

As others have said, TERRIBLE ship times. And I’m not talking about the known USPS issues, but how long it takes SSS to put together an order. They NEVER answer their phone, nor do they return email. I hate to say it, but even COMCAST is better because they answer their phone! I just had an order disappear that kept showing in pre shipment since 12/31. I called 5 times, left two VM, and emailed. No response, except magically, the order is now in the hands of USPS. And with the SAME shipping label number as 12/31. Sounds to me like somebody forgot the box....HOW many times? But they don’t even have the courtesy to contact me back and apologize. This is the SECOND time this has happened with them. They have some wonderful stuff, but I’m not going to put myself through the aggravation of dealing with them any more.

If there was a way to put no stars I would. I have been getting there monthly subscription for 3 years. I thought because I lived in Canada that Shipping was always bad with this company. I had never gotten anything to craft with on the holiday it was for. I had to put it away for next year. I have written many emails nicely asking just to check since for some reason they don't give out tracking on monthly subscription. (Every other company can why can't they?) I even phoned and was charged to phone them. ???? I could never understand why when you purchased other things from them it sat for weeks in a warehouse doing nothing. I NOW know why because they took your money and didn't always have there product. Shame on them. We live in times where we shouldn't have that issue. I also want to complian about purchasing one of there crafty parcels ( Beware people) Don't. I thought I would try it and was
curious I wanted to see what others were getting...well let's just say I went straight in my email and asked why? I also told them not to worry about sending out any more invoices everything month, that I'm no longer ever purchasing anything of theirs again. I only wish I would have seen this years back. ???? Hopefully this helps people see what kind of company these guys are. I'm pretty much thinking now that I have seen this rating for them. They are definitely hurting and with the way the world is now that can not afford to have so many angry people. Karma is %100 real. They got to greedy.
Funny story with this. I decided to order from an overseas website that had very similar items as Simon Says Stamp, Even with the shipping from far away, you will get your order faster from this other overseas company. True Story.

I wish I had read these reviews before…

I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered!! I’m dealing with the same issues as most of the other reviewers. I ordered on January 1st and they are still processing my order (today is January 7). They lied and told me it had shipped but according to USPS they haven’t received the order! I’ve emailed twice with no response and when they mentioned some items might be back ordered I just about had a meltdown! A good company does not charge you until items have shipped (Amazon is a good example) which is fair and professional but not Simon says. I won’t order from them again.

Lost another customer!!!

It is 12-22-20 and I am still waiting for my December Card Kit ordered on 11-17-20. SSS promptly took my money but now will not respond to email or phone inquiries. This was for Christmas Card making. They should not be allowed to accept funds until they ship product. Plenty of other companies to use in the future that actually care about customers and take pride in their service.

I just ordered a large order of dies…

I just ordered a large order of dies and stamps from the Diecember collection. I ordered November 30 and received December 18. No joke. BUT HERE IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD. My “Friends” die was an empty envelope. No die included. I waited three weeks to not even have what I paid for. I’ve called three times and emailed twice and I’ve heard nothing back. I will talk to my credit card company and tell them it’s fraud and have the charge taken off.

Simon Says Stamp review 2020

I have been purchasing from Simon Says Stamp for 4 years now. My experience is, they are only good for a few things you can’t find anywhere else, like their Simon brand products. They do not discount items, everything is full price. They take FOREVER to restock items. I have had items on my wish list that I am still waiting for them to restock, sometimes months later! I will not purchase anything without at least a $5 off coupon. Shipping and tax alone for me is usually $10, on top of the cost of the items, and I am in the US. The cost of shipping is out of sight! A lot of places will give free shipping if you spend a minimum, but here, the more you spend, the more it costs to ship. And then, when it does ship, sometimes it is a week, maybe 2, later. Can’t even blame COVID. It has always been this way. So it is usually weeks before I see my order after placing it.

Give your money to another store that will service you

I have placed several orders from this company and the shipping time is unacceptable. I havent had this issue with any other company. When I inquire they give me a “we are so busy” response and have 3-5 days to ship well, its day 6 and no shipment. HORRIBLE SERVICE
